Default Mammoth Pot Leek's & Onion's

For next year ive bought a pkt of Mammoth Pot Leek seeds & a pkt of Mammoth Improved Onion seed's...

just wondering if any of the good folks on here have grown these 2 varieties?...or intend to grow them next year ?...


not that im suggesting we have an on-line leek show...

not grown them myself but have thought about growing some sort of giant veg since they look so cool at the shows , when do i plant them if i did buy some onion seeds?

Not grown those, but have grown these and they came up as thick as my wrist LEEK BULGARIAN GIANT - 500 SEEDS on eBay (end time 20-Feb-10 23:18:50 GMT)

I remember the first time I grew leeks, I knew nothing about dibbing a hole and watering them in Instead I popped them in and packed the soil around and ended up with leeks like spring onions
