Default When can i plant out seed potatoes

This year due to extra space needed on veg plot for other new veg not grown before, iv decided to grow all my potatoes in bags. They are chitting well and im not sure when its safe to plant them outside.

Give em a couple more weeks, when the shoots are strong and purpleish, also lets the last of the frost go

This is the first time that I came to know about growing the potatoes in bags. It was good to know about this technique of growing potatoes. I would love to give it a try and see it it works well with me too. Though I'm trying it for the first time, it would be interesting to watch for the results.
