Good evening Matty and welcome to the site. Basically, carry on with the way you`ve started. Get it dug and then get some crops in.

If nothing much has been grown in there before, I`d save the money and NOT use compost. Decide what you want to grow and plan your feeding for each section.

Cheaper than going to a gym!

I've been digging today too, it is hard work, but well worth it when you're done.

Keep at it

Smashing job Matty The weather was wonderful at the weekend, and I completed a little dry stone wall around my patio which is now covered in pots for herbs etc and another trench for beans and some squash

Gardening is a great way to keep physical fitness. My garden is not that much big to work. I want to post photograph of my garden. I tried but it's not working!

Try loading the image straight from your PC. Click on Post Reply then scroll down that page and click on Manage Attachments. This opens a new window. Click on Browse which opens the files on your PC, click on the file containing your photo's then click on open, this opens your photo file, then click on the photo you want and click on open. The code for that photo is loaded and you just need to click on upload for the image to appear on your reply. I hope this helps!

Sarina, I`ve pinched the above information from one of Lesley Jays` posts. Best of luck.

Remember to leave enough room between the rows to walk. And when planning where to plant different crops try to keep the small plants in one area like radishes and lettuce.

I'm curious about the gardening since my childhood. I love it but there are
time and job constraints for which I can't continue.
Your ideas and practice will be cheering for me. Please keep sharing.
