Default Potatoe problem ?

Hi ,
Early potatoes been growing really well since planting late Feb.
However last 2 days noticed a black colouring on the leaves as per photo.
Now the growing time was 10 - 12 weeks from 21.2.10 so they are due for harvesting.
Is this a sign to do that , or a problem with the potatoe plants?
They are in a raised bed.
Hope the photo shows up ok.

Cheers for any advice , hope they are ok as it is our first attempt at this.

Hi Ell, Please wait for confirmation but I would hazzard a guess at frost. I would remove the damaged leaves & would think the rest will be ok.

cheers for the quick reply GH.

looking around some other internet iamges it does look like frost damage.
What should I do , remove the effected leaves , leave plant alone , will it recover ?

Due to be harvested soon I hope so not sure what to do ?

Hi Elle, I wouldn't worry and just leave the potato plants alone as they do recover after being hit by frost.

Why did you plant your early potatoes in February?
