peppers and chilli peppers

Hi i am growing some sweet peppers and chilli pepers in the green house and are doing very well growing with the cucumbers ! Advise i been told many different things , but do you pinch out side shoots on peppers ans also pinch out growing tip ?

As a general rule No!

Having said that I sometimes do with the chilli Habanero as these are generally quite small plants relative to some other varieties!
