Default Best tasting rhubarb

Does anyone have any opinions on which rhubarb is the best tasting?

I might have to actually buy some rather than scrounge some and so I thought I'd buy something good

Hi Principia, I would have to say Timperley Early but I'm biased as this is our local variety and a neighbour 'claims' that one of her family bred the variety.

Timperley Early here too, fab taste and a good cropper! Shame you arent nearby, you'd be welcome to dig up a crown, we've got lots of them and cant use all that we grow! Friends do take a lot of it off us though!
