Default Lettuces: help please

Planted more lettuces, lambs lettuce which is just sprouting through and all the year round lettuce which has produced seedlings. My query is do I need to feed them and if so what with?

I have had to move the seedlings into the greenhouse (unheated) as have given up outside as they just get eaten within a couple of days of growing a few centimetres tall. I've had to reuse compost as had run out so guess I'll need to feed them. The compost had grown spuds but as they were in a grow bag and hadn't gone into a lot of the compost hoped it would be ok.

thanks
