Lightbulb Chilli Grow Off 2011

Right Folks.

Reweeds 2011 Ring of Fire chilli grow off.

This is open to anyone, if you haven't sent me a message requesting seeds please feel free to pm your address.

Those taking part so far are:

Reweed (that's me)
greenfingerbag
Wayne.L
shetty
Matt_B
stupo74
Nicola_D
gunners71uk - Added to the list today. woohoo. hiya!

Rules: (These are open to change, ideas, suggestions and mockery)
- All seeds to be planted on same day/weekend to ensure we all have same growing period.

That's pretty much it. I'd like to see people trying something new and experimenting. Propagators, hydroponics and lights are all allowed.

Feel free to make a grow log thread to document anything you like or post on this thread.

Feel free to post ideas etc we could all add to the rules, i'll tidy this thread up to remove junk posts as often as I can to keep this initial first post full of useful information.

Cheers

Ben

Hi Mate,
Quite straight forward then Even easy for me,,,, stupo
I take it that it will be after Christmas when we get going, as not everybody will have access to props and lights????

I have some seeds that have all ready germinated, started early, due to the long season required to get them too fruit. These are 2 "Chocolate Bhut Jolokia", i tried and failed with them last year i did not even manage to germinate 1

Photo's will follow soon, been having major problems with camera, Had to be returned to supplier for repairs

cya soon, cheers stupo.

Oooh looking forward to starting, but I don't have a heated propagator or lights, my dad did give me a B&Q voucher for my birthday though so I might look into buying a heated prop.

I'm a complete novice, having only started growing stuff last year, by my long joes seem to be overwintering ok so far, I'm waiting with baited breath for the spring, to see if they "spring" back to life.

Unhappy reply

Hi Craig,
I think you will have time to join, you will have to send Mr Reweed your address, via a PM, to ensure you get the seeds.

Sadly I have got to pull out of the "Grow Off", It looks like me & mrs stupo will be on the move, sooner than expected, i wont go into details, but it will just not be practical, i have enough junk to move now, without the hastle of moving loads of plants as well.
Maybe if all goes well, i might be back for next year
Good Luck to all those taking part, have a great growing season
cheers stupo.
