Default Any advice on growing plants indoors?

I am planning on starting to grow organic veg in my garden soon, but I want to give it a go on a smaller scale first.

So what edibles would be suitable for growth in small plant pots indoors?

Thanks!

Hi Stephen, thanks for the tip, but aren't all of these outdoor plants...? I don't think an apple tree would fit in my living room!

Hi John,

Thanks for the advice. It will certainly be handy to have some herbs on hand, I can never really afford to buy fresh herbs.
But what are parmex short rooted carrots? Are they tiny carrots?! Do they taste good/the same as normal carrots?

Fresh herbs are really easy to grow and are fantastic to have on hand! Also you can grow tomatoes very well indoors too. Raddishes and chives will be fine. Let us know how you get on!
