I got out to the garden today and sowed the following:

6 tomatoes
6 cucumbers
12 corgetters (green and yellow)...............may need to expand the garden!
6 chilli's
6 french beans
8 sugar pea's
basil
flower seeds..........candy something or other??? can't remember, brain has went to mush!

Already sorted:
strawberrys
some beetroot
blueberry plant (project for the year!)
asparagus (another project where I need to wait 2 years!)

Still to sow:
more beetroot
carrots
salad leaves (was thinking of mixing the various packets I have and then putting together a mixed salad tub)

I am on a mission this year (had not too bad a year last year but beetroot was not a success so want to improve on this!)

My husband has promised to build me a raised bed this year................we will see!!!

It was quite a nice day to get out and about and now with the clocks going forward its even better, just need to be patient and wait now, all sowings are on the kitchen windowstill and once ready will get potted on in the greenhouse.

It's good to see that everyone is busy. I sowed some lettuce, spinach and peas outside. Inside in pots I put sweetcon and runnerbeans. My sweetpeas are coming up and so is the swiss chard which for the first year I sowed in pots.

So far this year I've got:

Veg:
3 varieties of spuds in 6 patio planters
Pumpkins
Courgettes
Carrots (4 tubs - 3 have come up so far)
Peas
Sugar snap peas
Dwarf french beans
Runner beans
Radish
Horseradish
2 varieties of cabbage
Sprouts
Cucumber
Butternut squash
Marrow
Chillies
Moneymaker tomatoes
Onions
Spring onions
Leeks

Flowers:
Sunflowers (Many, many sunflowers)
Mexican hats
Marigolds

Fruit:
So far not much going on here; last year's strawberries have re-appeared and I've planted a couple of plum pits to see if I can replicate last year's lemon tree success with plums

I'm off up the allotment this afternoon to get some frames made and set up for the beans and peas and to get some more spuds and sunflowers planted, I've got about 10 spuds nicely chitted and ready to go but I've run out of space in the garden (I've been using planter bags this year for the 1st time)

The wifey and I "agreed" to split the garden 50/50. Half for my veggie experiments and half for her pretty flowery thingies..... but I appear to not be good at maths and have "encroached" onto her patch somewhat lol "but love... its easier for you and less work... hehhe"
