Smile Potato Help!

I planted early potatoes (Home Gaurd) on March 25th -these were chitted-also Maincrop (King Edwards) - not chitted on the same day.
Now the Maincrop are starting to show flower buds but the earlies are not, this should be the other way round, both are in well prepared raised beds, and are looking robust and healthy, about 15 to 18 inches tall.Any comments would be appreciated.
Regards Hammer

Hi Hammer, not all potato varieties flower so I wouldn't worry about the lack of flowers on the early variety.

I agree with Lesley. I've got earlies and second earlies, and the seconds flowered before my first earlies! I was quite miffed that my pots were not conforming to my regiment!! Anyway i dug some first earlies up at the weekend and they were fine!!

good luck with yours!
