Ragged Jack

I've read a recommendation for a variety of kale called "Ragged Jack". Are seeds available in the UK for this.

I have searched a fair bit on Google, some sites sell the seed and call it Red Russian. Is this the same ?

It is likely to be very similar. There are various cultivars of "Ragged Jack" ( a lovely name!!), some not so red tinged as others. One self-seeded plant turned up on my allotment one year. I got my seed from the heritage seed library, but you have to be a member. It is in this year's catalog.
