Default Gooseberry Wine

Just been house sitting for my parents – Had a look in their cellar and discovered Elderado .. my dads Gooseberry wine from 1979… smells OK (STRONG). Would it be safe to drink??

Also ALL his old wine making stuff is down there – so I’m thinking of having a go!! Are there any good sites or books for beginners out there????

Cheers all

It's probably safe to drink. Might get you a little on the tipsy side though (yet I have a feeling you won't mind that...!)
