Default Tomato Chilli soup

Hi Everyone

I noticed like me a lot of people on the forum are trying to grow tomatoes & chilli's this year.

I've been trying to work out what to do with my crop (fingers crossed it works!)

I thought this recipie looked really simple & tasty for everyone who likes spicy food

sounds tasty maybe a hint of ginger, a teaspoon or two of sugar, a squeeze of lemon and a good bit of black pepper in there and it would be banging

i love tomato soup and like that copy this 1 Bring a medium-size pan of water to the boil. Cut out a small cone from the top of each tomato and plunge them into the boiling water for about 20 seconds (you may need to do this in batches), and then into cold water. Slip off the skins and coarsely chop the flesh.
2 Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat and sweat the onion, celery and chilli for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly coloured, adding the garlic halfway through. Add the balsamic vinegar and cook until it evaporates, then add the tomatoes, saffron, the sugar and some salt, give them a stir, then cover and cook over a low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3 Liquidise the soup in a blender in batches, return it to a clean saucepan and taste for seasoning. Reheat and serve in warm bowls drizzled with a little oil.

I love spicy food and I will add this recipe to my list, I remember my mother's friend, whenever I visit my friend in their house, her mother always prepare a tomato soup for us and it is so delicious and also spicy.

I love chili and hot foods! And this recipe looks really good, gonna try it this weekend, for sure!
Last week, on sunday I did those spicy chicken wings, added chili powder to the original recipe, 'cos I felt like having it a little more hot And they were great. So make sure to try this one too, if you're in spicy foods, like me, too

If you want it hot then try the worlds hottest chilli sauce recipe available on my site, it will make your eyes water for sure, last batch was tested at just under 1m scolville units. Struggling to sell it as I cannot bizarrely get insurance for it....
