Default Cream of Asparagus soup

Hi all - wondering if anybody might have a fantastic tried and tested recipe for Cream of Asparagus Soup? Son catered a wedding last night and has oodles of asparagus to be used. Thought I'd make pots of soup (pre - cream stage though) and freeze for later consumption. I know I could google and find some - but I do prefer a true tried and tested recipe. Thanks

Hmmm, have never had cream of asparagus soup with tomatoes before......think I personally like the two separate - cannot imagine the tastes blending very well.
