I know one very original recipe that need mint. It is very weird soup made of carrot, celery, parsley and orange juice - all with mint and mixed to cream. It looks great - very beautiful color, but it is not for my taste. Made it once, won't make it again.

PS Nice idea for wine - how does it taste?

Wow!! I was just going through the forums when I came across this thread. I must say it just brought water to my mouth. I love mint and any recipe that contains mint is my favorite. I just wanted to know how it tastes as I am planning to prepare for my parents when I'll be visiting them this weekend.

I grow moroccan mint which I shred and add to cous cous. Simple but delicious.

Today I made a nice pea puree. A cup of cooked peas blended with 2 tsp of chopped mint and 2 tbs single cream, salt and pepper. It was to go with some salmon fish cakes I made and it was really delicious.

Default Yummy Mint Dip

when I am having lamb skewers (nice on bbq), I make a sauce from chopped mint, white wine vinegar and creme fraiche and its lovely.

Even my partner who says he doesn't like mint enjoys it this way!

A few sprigs of mint in a pot of tea can amp up its flavor and is especially lovely for iced tea varieties. In many chocolates has it flavour and it use for medicinal purposes.

You can add it to a hot pot of boiling water when you add your tea bags so it can get a mint tea flavor that's oh so good! Or you can make some mojito.
