Default Not what to cook but how to cook it.

Not strictly what to cook but rather how to cook it.
A quick project I'm busy with before the weather turns is a pizza oven just outside the kitchen door. It can be used for all sorts of cooking - including the Christmas dinner.
I've posted the first "episode" here if anyone's interested, and hopefully next years harvest will be in for some interesting recipes.

I've managed to keep awake long enough to post episode 2 but I think I might just have a day off tomorrow and do something relaxing like digging in some muck...............NOT

Slow progress this weekend as we had a birthday bash for my Grandson's sixth birthday.
Err - what I really mean is NO progress this weekend LOL. I've posted progress up to close of play on Friday, including my mistake and change of plans.

The weather and "THE BOSS" on half term holiday have definitely not helped this week but I have made some progress. I've posted episode five here

YouTube - DIY Pizza Oven Episode Five

and I'm OK with the result, but if it was a school report it would probably read "Could have done better with more preparation"
Let's hope the weather fares better over the next couple of days as the half bricks are already chopped and trimmed and ready to lay for the dome itself. I've no excuse now as I have everything to hand to finish in a few days if the window of opportunity presents itself.

I've managed to get in a couple of hours today during a break in the weather but it doesn't look very promising for the next couple of days. Never mind, it's taking shape and actually beginning to look like a pizza oven. So here's the Halloween Special.
