Smile Spicy courgette fritters

Just made these and they are yum although slightly greasy do think next time I will substitute the sunflower oil for olive oil and try using less and also make smaller fritters (about 5 slices of courgette).

2 or 3 cougettes (depending on size) sliced thinly
1 large red onion sliced thinly
140g self raising flower
1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
1 red chillie sliced thinly
1tbsp garam masala
1tsp turmeric
Seasoning
Sunflower oil for frying

Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix with around 200ml cold water to form a thick batter. Fry spoonfulls in a good amount of oil for 2 mins then turn and fry for same on other side. Drain on kitchen paper and keep warm until all mixture is used up. Serve with a tomato salsa.

Yeh! Something else I can try.

Courgettes coming out of my ears. Not a pretty sight.

Sounds tasty!

That's the same expression I use. You go outside, pick the courgettes and the next day they're back.
