Default The weekends achievements!

Thanks to the delights of my garden and the recipe ideas from the forum I managed to make spiced courgette chutney, sweet cucumber pickle and rhubarb wine this weekend. Can't wait to try them all. Beetroot chutney is on the cards next as soon as my beetroot is ready. I've made it four years running and everybody requests it before it's even made.

Also made chocolate fondants which turned out well - nice and gooey in the middle.

Does anybody have a fav recipe they wish to share?

This weekend I have made more cucumber pickle with the glut, strawberry wine and pickled shallots. Another 12 jars to the collection.

The strawberry wine recipe is on thread 'wine mmm...'

I'm interested to know what other people have made or plan on making. Please post your recipes.

I also made courgette chutney yesterday (BBC good Food recipe). Needs to mature for 2-3 weeks thou' .

So many courgettes this year and you can almost see them grow, but they are coming to an end now.

Tomatoes are starting to ripen up nicely now and this sunny weekend bank holiday should help too. Red tomato chutney next I guess.
