You just reminded me...I need to be thinking about baking a Christmas cake soon

Can I add a bit of brandy or rum to your recipe?

You can indeed if you want Autumn. By the time I have finished feeding it with whisky it doesn't need adding earlier. Bit on the 'lethal' side I guess, like my brandy soaked trifle!!
