Default bird house plans

Can anyone point me in the right direction of some free & easy to make birdhouse plans? I have some 7 feeding stations in my garden and a mass of birds as a result. Currently they all nest in or very near to my garden but as my young daughter grows up (who is fascinated by them! Including my pride and joy of Two(!) Robins) I would like to build some nesting boxes to encourage them closer. Any website suggestions much appreciated

the type of box will depend on the type of bird.

i don't want to intrude on your parenting skills, however, i would suggest you keep your kids and yourself well clear of the nest areas. the adult providers will often abandon the nest if it is interfered with. and trust me trying to hand rear chicks isn't easy!
